Ebone grew up in a close-knit family where service, compassion, and love were exemplified. Growing up, Ebone always knew she wanted to be in a profession where she could help make a difference in the lives of others. Ebone is an experienced licensed counselor who is committed to helping clients recognize their own strengths, and develop skills that will foster desired changes in their lives. She has provided therapy to children and adolescents in a school and clinical setting. She has worked with individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness and substance use disorders in outpatient and inpatient facilities. She tailors her approach to each client's unique needs and considers a variety of well-being factors, such as social, emotional, physical, spiritual, professional, and interpersonal wellness. Her objective is to provide clients with evidence-based care that will improve their mental health and help them rediscover their sense of purpose and meaning in life. As your therapist, I will help you to navigate through difficult challenges. We will collaborate together to strategically create a personal plan to overcome obstacles, develop positive coping skills, foster healthy relationships, and more. To facilitate change within the lives of my clients, I utilize person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, gestalt, family systems, solution-focus therapies as well as motivational interviewing techniques. My approach also focuses on changing problematic behaviors, feelings, and thoughts by discovering their unconscious meanings and motivation. Throughout the therapeutic process, I will diligently work to provide encouragement so you can reach your full potential and exemplify the best version of yourself. Having the opportunity to listen to someone and instill hope is one of the best gifts I can give.
